Sen Kennedy Questions Judicial Nominee On Reducing Sentences

Judge Julia Lipez is nominated to fill a vacancy on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. During her tenure as a judge in Maine, Judge Lipez cut a sentence in half for a defendant foudn guilty of molesting two young girls.
